Handmade Soap at Tucker House Inn

handmade soap at the tucker house
Meet Sharalyn Lehman and her lovely daughter Elly. Sharalyn started a cottage industry a few years ago, creating lovely soaps using no chemicals.  She blends shea butter, coconut oils, castor oils, olive and essential oils to produce natural and sweet smelling soaps. All the Lehman family is involved in the process:  Dad, Elly (8 years old) and sometimes even Abel, who is 3. The family owns Swallows Song Farm, where they raise chickens and tend their beehives. There are also several orchards on the property. She uses natural botanicals for exfoliates including rosemary and lavender. Her honey soap, made from their farm’s honey is moisturizing and luxurious for your skin. There were rave reviews for her chocolate truffle soap made for Valentine’s Day. We even had one guest who tried to eat it! After all it is all natural. Large bars of our house scent peppermint eucalyptus and our seasonal scents are available at physical or online giftshop.
