The Tucker House Inn, Harrison House Suites and Coho Restaurant were recently awarded the prestigious Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence. The Inns were also designated Bronze Level Green Leaders.
Trip Advisor, the world’s largest travel site, awards Certificates of Excellence based solely on travelers’ reviews posted on the site. The accolade, which honors hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses world wide. Only the top-performing 10 percent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.
To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor, and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.
The GreenLeaders Bronze Level is awarded to lodging establishments that are committed to green practices like recycling, water efficiency and alternative energy. The higher the level, the greater the impact of a property’s green practices.
“In the past few years we have concentrated our energies on the guest experience. We want their stay at our Inns or dinner at our restaurant to reflect the same magic that the Islands offer. Our staff is keenly focused on providing a memorable experience from our warm hospitality, attention to detail in their guest room or in their meal preparation, to our taking care of every guest need, and it pays off in our reviews,” explained Anna Maria de Freitas, owner of Harrison House Suites, Tucker House Inn, and Coho Restaurant. “We continually ask ourselves how we can improve on the quality of our hospitality, accommodations, food, amenities, and more,” finished de Freitas, “We are appreciative of our guests for their continued support not only at the Inns but at Coho Restaurant as well..”
