Each year the Town of Friday Harbor celebrates local history by coordinating a month-long calendar of local history events including guided tours, history talks, and special events at historic sites. Most of the events are free and open to local residents and island visitors alike. Get to know people and events that make Friday Harbor and the San Juan Islands unique. Discover for yourself what attracted the first islanders to live on an archipelago of islands in the Salish Sea, and what lures others still today.
