“Know Your Island” Walk – February 22

images-1Join Lee Taylor, San Juan Island National Historical Park superintendent, from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, February 22 for a guided walk along the new Westcott Bay Trail at English Camp.
After the walk, Taylor will cover the park’s planning process for the recently added 70 acres of woodland and shoreline.This temporary trail begins at the northeast end of the Bell Point trail and meanders through woodlands and along the shoreline to the sheltered cove (or back bay) near the old Webb house. The hike returns to where it started.

The hike meets in the English Camp parking area. It is approximately three miles and rated moderate by the San Juan Trails Committee, co-sponsor of the event. Terrain is wooded park trail. Dogs on leashes are welcome. This event will occur rain or shine.
