Old-Fashioned Christmas Celebration at the Museum – Dec 6

Start your holiday season off right by attending a time-honored island tradition. The event is the museum’s way of saying thank you to the community for your continuing support. The museum buildings will be decorated in holiday finery and the winter wonderland train set—a delight for children of all ages—returns.

Enjoy delectable baked goodies galore, world famous Ivar’s clam chowder, chili (vegetarian too) and hot apple cider. Traditional caroling will be led by the Island Chordsmen and the San Juan Singer, and Ian Byington will lead us all in belting out the sing-a-long classic holiday tunes we all remember. We’ll be trimming the Christmas tree too, so bring an ornament to hang on tree if you’d like. It’s a free event, so come one, come all and come hungry!

Please contact the museum for further information at 360.378.3949 or www.sjmuseum.org & www.historicsanjuans.org

Date & Time: Thursday, Dec 6, 5-8
