The dynamic beer duo, John Gilroy and Aaron Anderson, who brought us the memorable Okotberfest and Winter Welcome dinners, have another great event planned for us this spring. Each April Merchant du Vin has their annual Samuel Smith Salute, a national event celebrating this iconic English brewery. They will kick off a series of San Juan Island events at Coho Restaurant with a special beer dinner. Samuel Smith helped build the micro brew revolution in the United States when their first shipment of beer arrived here in 1978. We have an amazing line up of beers planned for the evening along with Chef Bill’s deft pairings. So join us on April 17th at 6 p.m. for a 5 course dinner. Dinner is $45 and the beer pairing is $25.
