This summer we’re all doing things a little differently, and here at the Tucker House Inn & Harrison House Suites that includes how we serve our gourmet morning breakfast each day. Our menu now features new dishes designed to be eaten more easily in your room or outside on our decks and patios, delivered to your door in a basket hot and ready to eat wherever you are most comfortable.
To make this possible, Chef Jessica is offering more hand-held breakfast sandwiches on housemade breads such as croissants, bagels, and even English muffins! She’s been working from this recipe published in Bon Appetit magazine in April 2016. While this recipe makes a dozen, Jessica typically makes larger batches and slightly bigger muffins to accommodate a fried egg, slice of Canadian bacon, and sautéed greens, plus a hollandaise-inspired cream cheese schmear to take it all over the top.
