Explorer Bus Day Pass Expands Offering 2-for-1 Special

New this year, for day pass holders, a free ride back to the ferry the next day. And beginning June 21, the bus will include the Cattle Point area of the new San Juan Islands National Monument in one of its runs.

San Juan Island daily shuttle bus service began earlier this year, May 17, and runs longer than before, through September 15.  Route options have increased. Three different island routes originate or terminate at the Friday Harbor ferry landing. See www.sanjuantransit.com for full details of schedules/pickup sites.
Friday Harbor—Roche Harbor (includes vineyard, alpaca ranch, English Camp, sculpture park)
DAILY 5/17 thru 9/15
Friday Harbor—Cape San Juan (includes golf course, American Camp, South Beach, Cape San Juan)
DAILY 6/21—9/2
Friday Harbor—Snug Harbor (includes Lime Kiln Point State Park, San Juan County Park, lavender farm)
FRIDAYS—MONDAYS in May and June, DAILY 6/14 ¬— 9/2

Travelers can use the pass in conjunction with the Washington State Ferries free walk-on passenger ticket (with purchase of one full-fare passenger ticket) offered in the print version of the Seattle Chinook Book.  The Chinook Book can be found at bookstores and retail outlets around Puget Sound or purchased online at http://sea.chinookbook.net/online-store/.
