Meet Lindsey!

As the summer season wraps up here on San Juan Island, unfortunately that means two of our awesome team members are heading back to school. Cam will be starting her Sophomore year of high school and Nikki will be heading off to graduate school! Bittersweet news, we know. We do, however, have a new team member to introduce! Meet Lindsey – our new Guest Relations Coordinator. She made the trip all the way from Atlanta, GA to be a part of our team. Check out this vlog she made documenting her cross-country journey!

Atlanta to San Juan Island

Lindsey recently graduated from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and earned degrees in Mass Media Arts and Spanish. What brought her all the way to Friday Harbor you might ask? Well, one of her favorite things to do is travel. She grew up moving all over the country and fell in love with experiencing new places. In fact, within the past year she has traveled to 10 different countries! Upon graduating, Lindsey had her eye on the west coast and came across an online listing for the San Juan Island Inn Collection. The rest is history!

Her Position

We are like family here at the Harrison House Suites and Tucker House Inn, which means all hands on deck when a job needs to get done! Although her main role will be helping guests make reservations, check-in and get acquainted, she will also be helping out with breakfast service, managing our websites, social media outlets, newsletters and even acting as the in-house photographer and videographer for weddings on our property! Creating videos is Lindsey’s passion so she is especially thrilled for that aspect of the job. Not to mention filming Susan’s weekly Hospitality Vignettes!! When Lindsey is off the clock, you can find her running, biking, hiking, fishing or exploring a new place with her camera in hand.

Come Say Helloooo!

Although it will be sad to say goodbye to two of our team members, we excitedly welcome Lindsey to our family. Come be our guest at the San Juan Island Inn Collection this fall and meet her for yourself!
