San Juan Island Farm Tour

The San Juan Islands Farm Tour is a unique opportunity to visit farms on the island. Join us for the 2018 San Juan Farm Tour and discover the local bounty! Farms are open by the designated times listed below.

Aurora Farms: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Come visit a gorgeous “polyculture farm” with pigs, poultry, sheep, goats and horses. Savor delicious BBQ sliders and salad all day ($12-15). Walk the farm and visit our greenhouses to learn about year-round food production and see what’s in season. Located at: 652 No 2 School House Rd, Friday Harbor, WA 98250

 

Sweet Earth Farm and Snowberry Farm: 11:15 am – 3:00 pm

Enjoy delicious fruit crepes from Snowberry farm; listen to a talk on regenerative permaculture and farming with nature and ecology. Fun games for kids! Located at: 16 Sweet Earth Ln, Friday Harbor, WA 98250

 

Red Roof Acres: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Walkabout on a real horse farm and visit the chickens and roadside farm stand! Learn about their aerating compost facility, cost-share program site development, grazing/pasture management. Located at: 2575 Bailer Hill Rd, Friday Harbor, WA 98250

 

Dancing Seeds Farm: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm

Experience the inherent joy and beauty of our historic farm, visit with our team of passionate farmers, and browse our store for fresh eggs along with seasonal vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers. Located at: 3501 Beaverton Valley Rd. Friday Harbor, WA 98250

 

 

Notes: Wear appropriate outdoor shoes and attire. Please respect farm host locations and adhere to directions or instructions – these are farms with active operations and require your attention for your own safety. Farms will be flagged with a banner.
NO ANIMALS ALLOWED ON SITE (except the farm animals of course). NO TICKET SALES ON SITE.
