Waxed at Islands Museum of Art – September 14 – November 9

 

Islands Museum of Art (IMA) of Friday Harbor, WA is pleased to announce the opening of the exhibition “Waxed @ IMA” on September 14 with a reception from 5-8pm. The International Invitational exhibition curated by Miles Conrad of Conrad Wilde Gallery, Tucson, Arizona.

“Waxed @ IMA” reveals the extensive diversity possible when creating with the beeswax medium in both 2-D and 3-D artworks. The exhibition will be on display from September 14-November 9, 2012.

Featuring the work of the following 10 artists working in the encaustic medium:
